In order to deepen regional industrial collaboration and promote high-quality development of the mold industry, on December 13, 2025, President Zhang Yongfan led a team to visit and exchange ideas with Guangdong Wencan Foundry Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Qixin Precision Casting Co., Ltd. Through on-site inspections, discussions, and other forms, a cooperation bridge for technology mutual learning and resource sharing was built.

The inspection team arrived in Qixin, Guangdong to focus on researching the progress of its new energy vehicle parts manufacturing base project construction. As a national specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprise, Qixin focuses on the core components of new energy vehicles' "three electricity" and key components of photovoltaic energy storage. It adopts a "dual track parallel" strategy of infrastructure and equipment procurement to accelerate project construction. The base will introduce top equipment such as Italian six axis machining centers and ultra large automated die-casting machines to innovate integrated die-casting and precision green welding technology. Both sides exchanged practical experiences on topics such as large tonnage high-precision mold manufacturing, optimization of automated production lines, and response to tariff policies. The inspection team highly recognized Qixin's innovative practices in the research and development of lightweight structural component molds and capacity upgrades.




Subsequently, in Wencan, Guangdong, the inspection team gained a deep understanding of the company's global layout and core technological advantages. As a listed company and a leading global enterprise in the research and development of automotive aluminum alloy castings, Wencan Group covers multiple processes such as high pressure, low pressure, and gravity casting, and is the first to achieve large-scale production of high-strength aluminum alloy body structure die-casting parts, serving well-known customers at home and abroad such as Tesla, Mercedes Benz, and BYD. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on key issues such as the intelligent and green transformation of the foundry industry, the localization of industrial software, and the formulation of industry group standards. The focus was on the integration and application of artificial intelligence and big data in production, exploring how to reduce energy consumption and improve production accuracy through technological innovation.



This visit not only enabled the association to accurately grasp the cutting-edge dynamics of mold enterprises in the Greater Bay Area in technology research and development, production capacity layout, and green transformation, but also promoted the precise docking of industry resources. In the future, the association will continue to play a role as a bridge and link, promoting deep cooperation between enterprises in technology research and market expansion, and helping the mold industry to develop towards intelligent, high-end, and green coordinated development. This time, not only did we grasp many industry development trends, but we also integrated resources. The association will create a shared manufacturing center.
